These bowls are made from recycled clay! (reclaimed clay from larger pieces that gets made into a slurry then dried up and re-wedged). Each one of Bridges Pottery bowls is hand made on the potter's wheel, trimmed to perfection, fired to a bisque in the kiln, glazed with food friendly glazes then fired a second time leaving a beautiful color on the bowl. It is a long process but worth the wait.
Some have a small cone in the center specifically for rings and some are smooth bottomed. They are available in many colors and you can custom order most colors or combinations.
