People tell me they like to see work in progress and I like to share. Here is a large rectangle platter - about 17 x 11 x 2. It is now leather hard and I have just removed it from the hump mold and will continue to dry it slowly to avoid any warping. This piece has a 1/4" foot all the way around the base. I made a small rectangular slab as an insert to be used when I fire it. I am concerned that the unsupported span in the middle might sag.
