Kiln CAM

After an 11 day power outage I am back on the grid! Nothing like a little 11 day delay during my pre holidays rush.

Just before the power outage I had set up a camera with a watchful eye on the kiln. Not a Nanny Cam - a Kiln Cam. It runs on my wifi network and I have it pointed at the control panel so I can see what's going on from my computer or  smartphone. It provides peace of mind and a really cheap way to make sure the kiln is on or off from a far.

Bridges Pottery Kiln Cam
It is a D-Link video camera that you access the feed from a website. It is password protected and gets the feed via my wifi.
