Staying in Shape for Pottery

Lots of people ask me "You must have really strong arms doing pottery?". And I do.  Aside from the usual gym type workout - my arms get a good workout doing lots of non pottery work. I thought I would share today's upper body excersize. This is great for shoulders, tricepts and bicepts. It is important that you do this when it is very hot out so that you sweat a lot to get the full benefit.

Be sure to press really hard with the scrubby mop.

Lower your grip for greater focus on the lower arm muscles.
