Hmmm...both are good. I like the top one because of the green, and it's more elegant. The white one is more modern/blog like perhaps...hmmm
I like the white, I don't like dark color on websites in general, and I think the type reads better on the white.
Who me?? Comment on color? If I must...I agree with both of the prior comments. I think the green looks more elegant, but for practical purposes, the white is brighter, and reads better. At the end of the day, form follows function, so - I vote for the white.
I prefer the white header to the green one. I think it is much cleaner and professional looking. I don't love the white band across the green.
